New Clay Tennis Court Construction

R&J Tennis builds new clay tennis courts for homeowners, communities, and clubs in Southwest Florida. A new court brings together the playing surface, the base beneath it, water management, and the space around it.

Choosing the Location

A court needs more room than the playing lines. Space around the court, equipment access, entrances, landscaping, and nearby activity all affect where it can go.

Site photos or existing plans help, along with how many courts you want and who will use them.

What Goes Into a Clay Court

A clay court typically involves site preparation, a stable base, grading and drainage, the clay playing surface, and court equipment such as posts and nets. How the court is watered and maintained depends on the court system chosen.

Fencing, lighting, irrigation, and other features are listed separately in the proposal, so you can see exactly what is included.

Owning a Clay Court

A clay court needs regular care. Think about who will maintain the surface, how it will be watered, and how equipment will reach the court. For communities and clubs, this also affects staffing and access.
